ISO is the camera's sensitivity to light, aka film speed. Notice the difference in lighting between the two photos. With the camera set on program mode the photo on the left was taken at an ISO of 200 and the one on the right at 400. A good of example of why to take test shots at various ISOs before you shoot. No post-processing done to these photos.
